Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a natural, safe, non-addictive and effective form of therapy that utilises hypnosis to encourage a positive change in the client’s life. Contrary to popular belief hypnosis is in fact a natural phenomenon and completely safe. It can be described as an altered state of consciousness whereby the hypnotherapist guides the client in a number of exercises to induce a state of deep relaxation. In this state characterised by increased suggestibility, the therapist safely reprogrammes the unconscious mind to eliminate bad habits and modify/alleviate psychological and emotional problems removing the root cause of the condition, helping the client to make specific and positive changes to achieve their goals and improve their well-being both physically and mentally.

Hypnotherapy utilises both Suggestion Therapy and Analytical Therapy (Hypno-analysis). Both are effective for the specific conditions/symptoms they treat. On occasion both therapies can be combined.

Suggestion Therapy

Suggestion therapy is effective in the treatment of minor /habitual conditions. However, is a short term solution for some conditions and hypno analysis may be required to successfully eliminate the problem long term, as suggestion therapy alone does not include analytical therapy and therefore does not establish the root cause of the ailment.

Analytical Therapy (Hypno-analysis)

Analytical therapy or hypno-analysis works on the principle that every effect or symptom has a cause. This is an effective therapy that identifies the underlying cause and provides a solution to more deep-rooted psychological or emotional issues.

Hypnotherapy is a gentle therapy in the treatment of minor/ habitual to deep rooted psychological or emotional conditions such as:

  • Infertility and Child birth
  • Pain Control
  • Smoking Cessation
  • Weight Control
  • Stress and Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Confidence and Performance
  • Panic Attacks
  • Phobias
  • Sexual Problems

Hypnotherapy can also reduce the side effects caused by medical conditions that affect people from all walks of life, making their condition more comfortable, such as reducing itching from skin complaints, pain control, relaxation for child birth and many more… Hypnotherapy is not a cure for all conditions but it can alleviate accompanying symptoms to make your life more comfortable.
